At Agritechnica 2023, Fendt revealed the all-new 600 Vario series, earning both the “Farm Machine 2024” and “Audience Choice” awards, and later winning the ‘MidPower Tractor of the Year 2025’ at EIMA in Italy.

The Fendt 600 Vario is an all-round tractor without compromise. Its compact size, outstanding manoeuvrability and low power-to-weight ratio make it extremely versatile. This means it can be used for arable farming, grassland, transport and front loader work.
FENDT 600 SERIES FEATURES
The infotainment system offers a comprehensive electronics platform for entertainment and communication, consisting of four modules: a hands-free system, high-quality radio reception, the ability to connect to a wide range of external audio sources, and fully integrated operation via the terminal or the rotary knob on the armrest.
The sound system is available in different versions: the infotainment package includes four premium speakers, while the infotainment package + 4.1 Soundsystem (from Profi up) also integrates a subwoofer into the soundbar.
This future-oriented infotainment system offers many expansion options, perfectly balanced sound in the cab, maximum ease of use and full integration into the vehicle.
Front power lift for optimum manoeuvrability
The front power lift of the Fendt 600 Vario offers a high lifting capacity of 4,400 daN and a continuous lifting capacity of 31 kN, with a maximum implement weight of 3,180 kg. The front power lift is fully integrated into the waisted half frame, which ensures optimum manoeuvrability.

This does not impair the working hydraulics and offers vibration damping thanks to a nitrogen accumulator. The integrated cylinder protection and simple operation via the power lift control module and the terminal round off the functions. The comfort front power lift
The comfort front power lift with position control and load-relieving control offers numerous advantages for the use of implements at the front. The active, dynamic control of the support and relief pressure between 3 and 100 bar is conveniently carried out via the terminal. A position sensor on the front power lift recognises unevenness and ensures that control is automatic from a speed of 0.6 km/h. This means that no mower deck relief springs are required, which further simplifies handling. The front power lift of the Fendt 600 Vario allows you to work without damaging the implement and ensures optimum ground tracking. This protects the sward during mowing and reduces forage contamination, resulting in higher forage quality. In addition, directional stability is ensured by the load on the front axle, depending on the area of application.
VarioDrive – now also available in the medium power range
VarioDrive is not an unknownconcept in the Fendt large tractor series. With the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 and the newly developed Fendt 600 Vario series, this technical innovation has now also arrived in the mid-range performance segment. VarioDrive stands for many things, but above all for soil protection and efficiency.

Fendt Torque Distribution ensures permanent traction by intelligently distributing the torque to the axle with the best grip. What’s more, you always drive in the right gear and have optimal power transmission at all times, which significantly reduces tyre wear and fuel consumption.

Lowest operating weight and highest payload
The impressively high payload of up to 5.8 t with a permissible gross weight of 13.5 t enables the tractor to legally carry full loaded front and rear combination planters, or the safe transport of trailers with demanding drawbar loads. Thanks to its intelligent lightweight construction, the Fendt 600 Vario has an impressively low operating weight of only 7.7 t. Depending on the work, it can be flexibly ballasted at the front and rear via weights and rear wheel weights. When it comes to the ratio of payload to operating weight, the Fendt 600 Vario scores an outstanding index of 75% in the compact standard tractor class.
Best manoeuvrability in the 200 hp segment
The turning circle of the Fendt 600 Vario is astonishingly small at just 10.2 metres. This makes it even 0.6 metres shorter than the Fendt 700 Vario Gen6. This superior manoeuvrability is possible due to the compact engine package, the half frame with waisted design and the innovative pull-in turn effect of VarioDrive. AGCO Power CORE50
The new generation of AGCO Power CORE50 engines sets new standards in engine technology. With a cubic capacity of 5.0 litres and four cylinders, the engine offers impressive power reserves and maximum fuel efficiency. The CORE engine family is approved for alternative fuels such as HVO in accordance with DIN EN 15940, which makes them particularly environmentally friendly. Thanks to the Fendt iD low-speed concept, the engine operates in a speed range of 800/950 rpm at idling speed and up to 1,900 rpm at nominal speed, resulting in smooth and fuel-efficient operation.
Efficient cooling concept with demand control and reversible fan
The intelligent cooling concept with a suction fan and an electronic viscous fan clutch ensures that the fan speed is controlled as required and optimises cooling performance by minimising the gap. Each cooler can control the fan separately, which lowers the base speed and reduces fuel consumption. The optional reversible fan function enables independent cleaning of the radiator grille and can be controlled manually or automatically via the terminal. Particularly advantageous in dusty conditions, the integration into the Fendt TI headland management system offers maximum convenience and ensures optimal adjustment of the cooling capacity, high fuel efficiency and minimised radiator contamination.
Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP) added-performance concept
The Fendt 600 Vario has a maximum engine output of 209 hp. The innovative DP performance-enhancement concept releases up to 15 hp more power when needed. Normally, the power is distributed to consumers such as the PTO, the hydraulics, the fan and the air conditioning. The system detects when components need more power and intelligently provides more power. DP is also used for stationary PTO work (e.g., feeder wagon), for tillage and for slow-speed transport, depending on the active power consumers.
Quiet, safe and economical in transport
The Fendt 600 Vario sets new standards in its horsepower class with an outstanding payload of 5.8 tonnes. Thanks to its lightweight, extremely stable design and high payload, the Fendt 600 Vario is a safe companion for heavy-duty transport operations and journeys with the appropriate implement combinations. Added to this is the ingenious combination of the Fendt iD low-speed concept and the revolutionary VarioDrive drive. The 40 km/h are already reached at a quiet and fuel-efficient 1,100 rpm, and the 50 km/h at just 1,300 rpm. As a result, the Fendt 600 Vario combines assured transport with particularly high efficiency and outstanding driving comfort.

Four-speed rear PTO
The four-speed rear PTO offers a wide range of applications at 540/540E and 1000/1000E speeds. The connection between the crankshaft and the PTO shaft is via only one gear set, which ensures a high level of efficiency. The PTO shaft stump detection provides additional safety and efficiency. A major advantage is that PTO-driven implements can be operated at a constant speed while simultaneously varying the driving speed. In addition, it is possible to exchange different PTO shafts, which further increases flexibility.
Auto rear PTO
The PTO's automatic functions offer simplified operation and increased efficiency. Switching the rear PTO on and off can be assigned to a button on the control lever and occurs automatically at predefined positions of the power lift. The PTO's shut-off point is controlled by the position of the rear power lift.
